and the award for the most award nominations goes to... More Computers

We've kicked off the year with a total of three award nominations, all very exciting and all very different.

First up this week are the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards on Thursday 13th. We are nominated for the Excellence in Customer Service Award for the second year running. We narrowly missed out last year and are one of only three nominees this year. It would be great to see the team get further recognition for all their hard work and clinch it this year.

Next up are the PC Advisor Awards 2011, these are reader voted awards and we are nominated for Best Specialist Online IT Retailer. It's the first time we've been nominated in these awards and are through to the final five companies. PC Advisor is a very popular PC magazine and website, so it's great to get recognition from their savvy readers.

Last but not least are the PCR Awards 2011 and we we are up for the Best Online Retailer Award. More Computers is nominated along with four other websites including Amazon and Play. It would be great to take on the big boys and win! PCR is the trade magazine and website for the home and business computing sector, so this is very much an industry award. It's the first time we've featured in these awards, they are judged by some of the most influential people in IT so a win would be fantastic.

Will we do the treble? Who knows. It's possible, we've always been focused on providing the best service for our customers and we've made some major advances in the past 12 months. Whichever way it goes, we're more than happy to get so many nominations, it's a major achievement in it's self.
